Chart The Way For us they came, At last then they came. They never did ever, Chart the way, Chart the way there.
2.
Silent The Rotor Strobes and oceans, blinking motion, Ships that sink from sight. Desperate hands chase morse code shaking Charts, which come to life But hidden deep in chambers sleeping, Silent figures stir. Woken ancients, conscious And I wish we’d left them there Elemental spirits take the air Silent the rotor spins, Would someone keep my secret? The trouble that we’re in. Silent the rotor, rotations and orbits, Sins of angels, reverberation. Strobes on water, the waves breaking over me, Flash all stationary, revelation. Great expector, now awaken there Silent the rotor spins, Would someone keep my secret? The trouble that we’re in. You came here unobserved You hardly know me. Forsake my every word.
3.
A Body Of Work Cold blow the vapours, That grew my old bones together. That stopped me walking, That stopped me leaving. I stayed here only, To serve these lonely endeavours. Set them beside me, Thought they defined me. Bring back the old ways, I heard them all say together. I tried to find them, I tried to find them.

You Broke My Fall The night is so much darker now, That the burning ships have sailed. And when the dawn comes crashing in, Will we see where we failed, To break our fall? Good soldier I’ll lay down my arms, And concede we lost the war. It’ll give me an excuse to drink, now, I never needed one before, To break my fall. So the songs I write just turn out sad, Since the reaper took the reins. The friends I once made music with, Are now ghosts clanging their chains, They clang their chains. Dragging through my past, The chains that keep them bound, And locked inside my memory, Where they never really died. These spirits keep me company, at large, They’re by my side. With this impossibility, That we could all be here. The good times haven’t ended yet, I swear I’ll keep you here. So I’ll wrap my arms around my friends, Because I love you all. And if you’re still here when my life ends, Please know that you broke my fall. You broke my fall.
6.
Cemetery Of Light There’s a radar glowing orange, Tracking the course of a falling star. Calling angels, please get this message, ‘Cos it’s headed for the cemetery of light, Where you are And even hough I tried, another suicide, I couldn’t alter the course of history. It’s a mystery that we even make it through one day. Well he was here now, and then just vanished, He was an angel too but his wings got shot away, And he fell from the sky. In the cemetery of light, Are we grounded with the flightless angels? Wondering what could have been, All they ever talk of is what they could have been. Well asteroid divine you had to burn, You left just words and memories here in return. In the evening of that morning, There was no one living left to count the dead. And as he crashed down without warning, All the angels stared at their telephones instead. So won’t you come in from the night, Into the cemetery of light. Where flightless angels talk about their lives. I really never knew that you’d given up, Another suicide that I couldn’t stop. I just stayed there.
7.
Radio To Their World Thinking about the only way they ever knew, The sky all mad with stars, inside their hearts. And streaming through rivers swim their swords, All weary-o, Their radio, their art, their secret path, They radio to their world. Well they’re gonna make you change the way you operate, The way you felt at last, they take from you. They wail in holes, they plunder, For every man that stumbles down, another stronger. Their dreams explode, the rapture, And every time another dies, it just keeps getting closer. The radio to their world.
8.
My Cold Rebirth Glacial hand upon my shoulder, Thwarts my gait, migration through this colder, Looking glass. Fire them all, empty chamber, Specters that find their way home, Now remain there. But I’m asleep, inches deep, Lost and uncertain. Going into my cold rebirth, Colours are vague and uncertain. A million to one was it worth This haunted land, that spooks my vista? Memories like quicksilver drain out, Still I kissed her, then. All was light, My burning sister. The blazing world, Freeze us together. Open the frigid grave, Aint we brave? But prayer won’t save us now.. Coming out of my cold rebirth, Now I’m hip to the jag time’s a spiral. I buried myself in reverse, Just to herald my timely arrival, Rival. My rival.
9.
Where The Eyeless Walk Newly born and spirit formed, And ageless. Enchanted they re-emerged, All haunted lay, In a sleepless wake. Levitate, Join their ranks, disintegrate. Assemble new magnetic fields. The unspeakable now stands revealed, Where the eyeless walk, Far, far abroad. What treason takes this throne? Unmakes. Doctor dear, all your patients have disappeared, To where the eyeless walk. Far, far abroad.
10.
Slow Movements Hail radiant new universe, Strange laws that govern now. Beyond where that which should be is, Or nature will allow.. Slow movements out of time. This ancient globe rotating leave, For where light and love prevail. By order of an earlier breed, Which to the stars set sail. Slow movements out of time. Then solar divination bring, Migration to the source. Ten thousand years of history, Have finally run their course.
